Ateneo Blue Eagles superstar Thirdy Ravena has declared that he will skip the 2019 PBA Draft.
According to sources, the three-time UAAP Finals Most Valuable Player will bring his talents abroad to further enhance his skills.
The younger Ravena has consulted his parents with regards to his decision. Afterward, he called PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial to relay his thoughts on the upcoming rookie draft.
“I wished him the best. I told him to do what he thinks is best for him and his family,” said Marcial. “Pero sabi ko sa kanya, dapat next year magpa-draft na s’ya.”
Ravena’s name landed on the number one spot on many 2019 PBA mock draft.
That decision spoiled the dream duo of CJ Perez and Ravena in Columbian uniform. For the third straight year, the Dyip owns the first overall pick.
