The best-of-five series is now down to a sudden deathmatch. The winner of tonight’s game will be the rightful owner to battle the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel in the championship round.

TNT head coach Bong Ravena is preaching “strong start” to his squad as it is one of the keys to winning the series.

His troops responded in Game 4 17-4 blast in the first quarter and almost demoralized their opponent.

However, Allen Durham and the company woke up and probably may have remembered that they needed to get back in the Finals and have another Finals date with the Gin Kings.

The squad of coach Norman Black answered back particularly in the second quarter and most importantly in the final frame to seal the deal.

“I’m proud of the way the players responded tonight under pressure,” said Black. “We were in a do-or-die situation where if we lost, we are going home. Everybody was really attentive in practice when it came to making adjustments for our game plan in this game.”

For TNT all-star guard Jayson Castro, he finds that their rebounding in their previous game was a little bit off.

“Na out-hustle ulit. Lahat ng rebound, lahat ng long rebounds sa kanila,” said Castro.

“‘Yung mga guards, ‘di natutulungan ‘yung mga bigs. Kailangan tulungan yung bigs sa rebounding,” he added.
