The Talk ‘N Text KaTropa is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters at 7:00 P.M. on October 2, 2019 live from the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Cubao, Quezon City.
The KaTropa wanted to share the top spot of the standing at 3-0 while the Fuel Masters are eyeing for a back-to-back victory when the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup continues at the Big Dome this evening.
After they dismantled the Blackwater Elite in its conference opener, Talk ‘N Text followed it up with another convincing victory against the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters.
One of their secrets? That’s KJ McDaniels who continue to impress PBA fans with his scoring explosiveness.
Against Blackwater, the former Houston Rockets made 41 then versus ROS he dropped 37 points.
TNT head coach Bong Ravena hopes that their import continues to be consistent as his teammates are following his lead.
“Like I said in our first game, we need McDaniels to be steady and consistent, and the locals will follow suit,” said Ravena.
For Phoenix, on the other hand, they were able to escape the “never-say-die” spirit of the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel in their last outing.
Coach Louie Alas’ squad refused to go home with another loss and avoided the 0-3 pit.
“Credit to the guys, gustong-gusto nilang manalo,” said Alas who got thrown out during that match after he absorbed two technical fouls.
