The TNT KaTropa is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters at 6:45 P.M. on June 2, 2019 live from the Ynares Center in Antipolo City.

The Fuel Masters are looking to make two wins in a row while the KaTropa is eyeing for a bounce-back game after their winning streak was stopped by the NorthPort Batang Pier in their last game.

After averaging an impressive 42 points a game, Talk ‘N Text import got clamped down in their recent outing and only delivered 17 points for his squad.

The result of his low scoring output was a disaster for his team as they lost with a big margin 86-110.

Now it seems that other coaches now have an idea how to stop him, they’ll just continue what’s working a may opt not to reinvent the wheel.

Phoenix head coach Louie Alas is one of that believer of what NorthPort’s head coach has done to limit the scoring prowess of the former Houston Rockets player.

“Kinuha nila si Jones with a single matchup from Moala Tautuaa. Kapag lumusot saka nila binibigyan ng help defense,” said Alas. “I have to figure kung sino ang itatapat. But I have my options.”

That option can possible be a Calvin Abueva versus Terrence Jones.

Though Abueva doesn’t have the size of Jones yet his antics that can penetrate the minds of his opponent can make a difference.

Both the Fuel Masters and the KaTropa were the tormentors of the San Miguel Beermen in the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup playoffs as both squads played a physical and mental game.
