The University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Far Eastern University Tamaraws at 4:00 P.M. on October 6, 2019 live from the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
The Fighting Maroons wanted to make a quick bounce-back victory while the Tamaraws will make an attempt to log their two consecutive wins when the UAAP Season 82 resumes this afternoon in Pasay.
Team UP is coming from a humiliating defeat during their Finals rematch against the Ateneo Blue Eagles at the Big Dome last September 29.
This will also mark as the first match that the Fighting Maroons won’t have coach Bo Perasol in their bench to serve his three-game suspension.
Kobe Paras led the scoring for his squad with his 15 points while teammate Javi Gomez de Liaño added 14 markers.
For the FEU squad, on the other hand, they’re coming from a win versus the Adamson Soaring Falcons last September 28 at the MOA Arena.
Two of the players under the watch of coach Olsen Racela made their career-high in scorings and part of the reasons why they dominated that match.
Rookie sensation Xyrus Torres made 21 points while Pat Tchuente also had his version of a 21-pointer outing.
