It’s the second round and both the Americans and the Greeks are eyeing to register its first win to have a better chance to move to the Quarterfinals.
Each time someone wanted to watch a team apart from team USA in the 2019 FIBA World Cup most of them are asking, “Does that team have an NBA player in its roster?”
Well, team Greece not only have an NBA player but they have the “Greek Freak” himself and the reigning NBA Most Valuable Player and that’s Giannis Antetokounmpo.
In their Group Stage campaign, they lost only once against team Brazil which is led by Leandro Barbosa and Anderson Verajao both of who has an NBA experience.
Tonight, Giannis will face a squad composed entirely from the National Basketball Association and two of those players are his teammates in Milwaukee Bucks (Brook Lopez and Khris Middleton).
For team USA, it’s obvious who will be the player they need to shutdown but Giannis isn’t new on that where defense is focused on him and for sure he’ll be up for that challenge.
