The Carga Backload Solution is looking to make back-to-back victories while the Uni Pak Sardines will try to end their three-game losing skid when the 2019 MPBL Lakan Cup resumes this afternoon in Laguna.

Team Valenzuela is coming from a victory versus the Sarangani Marlins last December 19 at the San Andres Sports Complex.

Former Blackwater Elite player Val Acuña lifted the Carga squad after he made a four-point play at the 1:55 mark and extended their lead to nine points to secure the win.

Jaymar Gimpayan led Valenzuela with 17 points while Acuña had 16 markers.

The Navotas squad, on the other hand, bowed down to San Juan Knights last January 6 at the San Andres Sports Complex.

They were hammered by the Knights inside the paint and their opponent’s second unit also played much better compared to their bench players.

Jhong Bondoc led the Navotas squad with his 21 points and six rebounds production while John Carlo Melegrito added 16 points.
