According to Philvolcs 8:00 AM bulletin this morning, the alert level of Taal Volcano still at Alert Level 4.
The said government agency recorded a short-lived eruption of Taal Volcano early this morning.
“At 6:17 and 6:21 AM today, Taal Volcano erupted short-lived dark gray ash plumes 500 meters and 800 meters high, respectively, that dispersed ash southwest to west of the Main Crater.”
Hazardous explosion is still possible within hours and days mentioned in today’s news bulletin. They also advised residents around the volcano to take precaution of the effects of heavy and prolonged ashfall.
