According to the news bulletin of Philvolcs released at 4:00 PM this afternoon they have raised the alert level from Alert Level 2 (increasing unrest) to Alert Level 3 (magmatic unrest).
At 2:04 PM, the said goverment agency has monitored that Taal Volcano Main Crater and found out that the eruptive activity has increased where it generates an eruption plume to 1 kilometer-high.
Ashfall is currently being showered on the southwest sector of Taal.
Phivolcs reminded the public that the entire Volcano Island is now a Permanent Danger Zone and the entry to high-risk barangays of Agoncillo and Laurel is prohibited.
