Classes for both public and private schools are suspended in select areas on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 due to bad weather brought by the southwest monsoon.

According to PAGASA, there are two low-pressure areas they’re monitoring which are inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). At 3:00 PM today, they have detected the first LPA located at 280 KM west of Iba, Zambales but they’re expecting that there’s a low chance for it to be elevated to a tropical depression.

The other LPA the weather bureau detected is located at 895KM east northeast of Basco, Batanes.

According to PAGASA’s weather forecast for tomorrow areas like in Bataan, Zambales, Metro Manila, Batangas, Cavite, and Occidental Mindoro will experience monsoon rains.
