Denise Laurel claimed the 2nd season of “Your Face Sounds Familiar” even though that she haven’t achieved any award in the weekly competition of the country’s most unusual musical contest.

Denise Laurel obtained her largest win the competition as she grabbed the hears of the audiences who selected her in the grand finale.

The 28-year-old celebrity impersonated Beyonce in the live grand finals event scheduled at the Resorts World Manila. Laurel got home P2 million in cash prize, portion of which will be given to her preferred charity, Caritas Manila.

Denise Laurel gained 27.52 percent of votes on her impersonation of Beyonce during the last grand performance last Saturday. Following the release of winner last Sunday, Denise was so thankful and she was cited as saying “I just want to say thank you to our Lord, who loves all of us so much. Without Him, we are nothing.”

Apart from Denise other contestants got awarded during the announcement of grand finale winners were vocalists Michael Pangilinan who impersonated Adam Levine of Maroon 5, he finished second with 23.87 percent of the votes.

Sam Concepcion, who impersonated Justin Bieber, proclaimed as third, KZ Tandingan performed as Lady Gaga took the fourth spot, while rakista Kean Cipriano round up up the top five as he finished fifth for his impersonation of Ricky Martin.

Prior to the release of winners, the three other celeb artists namely Eric Nicolas, Kakai Bautista as well as Myrtle Sarrosa arrived on stage as the Bee Gees doing a disco medley got famous from the 70’s dance hits.
