A ring means a lot to several people. Many used it to signify that they’re engaged while others use it to show power (remember “Lord of the Rings”).

However, for actress and model Ellen Adarna, the ring unfortunately gave her swollen finger and discomfort. She was rushed to a hospital on Sunday to remove the said object that got stuck on her index finger.

“I’m not losing this finger!” Adarna wrote in the caption, joking that it was a “failed proposal.”

She also mentioned that the doctor need to cut the ring in order to save her finger.
