Watch: Kobe Paras Show-Off His Defensive Skills In 2017 William Jones Cup

Kobe Paras is (19-years-old) the youngest player in Gilas Pilipinas line-up who was sent to Taiwan to compete in 2017 William Jones Cup demonstrated that he’s not all dunks but also knows how to play defense.

Coach Chot Reyes inserted Kobe in the last few seconds of the fourth quarter to take the center position for Philippines basketball team as both Christian Standhardinger and Mike Myers got pulled out.

Although Gilas is already in the losing end, the son of Benjie Paras still relentless and gave his coach a well-deserved time in the court.

Paras swatted two consecutive offensive attempts of team Canada, one is from an alley-oop pass and the other one is from their big-man.

Kobe only seen a very limited minutes in his debut as a member of Philippines Men’s National Basketball team. He finished only four points in less than six minutes of action.
